Hey folks! This week’s podcast isn’t a little late because Marc forgot to upload it last night but because… uhhh… reasons?
We take a look at some of the lists we were running back in the misty origins of 3rd edition, comparing those lists to how we would play the same casters today. We also speak a little bit about theme lists, and Marc’s continued dislike of how they’re handled… but they are what they are, right?
Also, a quick thank you Marc-Andre and Chandler for your feedback about last week’s episode. We’ll bring up the points you mentioned next week when we record again. But thanks guys, I’m really flattered you listen!
So the Southern Ontario Open has come and gone. Big thanks to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone else who helps make the event possible!
We’re going to record a podcast about it (and probably the new Journeypeople Warcasters) in the near future, plus the amazing “State of the Meta” podcast that Nick and Darrell got to be a part of, but the team is busy recovering today.
So content is coming! We’re just not 100% sure exactly when… but soon! Definitely soon.
Thanks for your patience! And, hey, if you want to see Marc playing an embarrassingly awful game of WarMachine against an incredible (and nice) opponent, check the following link:
Well, the OTC has come and gone. And while we, as a team, didn’t do great (Top 24 isn’t a thing, right?), we did have some great games, some really educational matchups, and a handful of learning experiences.
Come, listen to Kassem, Nick, and I talk about what we learned! It’s a good long podcast, perfect for a lazy Monday morning!
Rightio, folks… this week we’re going to take some time to discuss one of my favourite warcasters, and something of a boogeyman in the meta right now… that’s right, ye olde Nemo3!
Gods, I love Nemo3. I loved him back before he was cool, but damn is he cool now… anyway! We discuss how he ticks, the kinds of lists he likes, and then the list I’m planning on using with him at the Ontario Team Championship!
