Everyone who listens to the podcast knows I’ve been pretty sad about the changes to Harbinger. But I loves her… she was 30% of the reason I started playing WarMachine, and 85% of the reason I started playing Menoth after Cygnar.
This week we have another commentated battle Report coming at you. It’s my Retribution Vs. Todd’s Circle. See if Thyron has what it takes to take on one of Circle’s lesser played Warlocks, Baldur1. Onslaught won’t work on Baldur’s feat turn. Might be trouble.
One last tournament battle report from Store Wars… and I’ve finally pulled out Cygnar’s Finest for this one… of course, I didn’t actually *practice* these lists beforehand… but what could possibly go wrong?
Podcast game! Circle! Electric Swans! Big freakin’ rocks with big freakin’ arms that beat steam powered robots to death!
Gods, I love this game…
My apologies again… somebody thought it would be a good idea for me to take the pictures, and as a result they all look like they’re taken at midnight on a moonless night in a closet deep within a cave. Hopefully you can make out what happens!
This week I was matched up against Todd, our local Pressganger (Gingerstein on the PP Forums), and his Circle army. Todd mainly plays Retribution these days but tonight he was dusting off his Circle for a change.
Todd brought eMorvahna and eBaldur. I had a feeling he was going to go with Baldur because that”s his favourite Cirlce caster. There was a also a pretty strong list chicken component since I had Durgen as one of my lists and it would probably have made short work of Goatvahna. Continue reading →
For my game this week, I was lucky enough to be paired off with our resident Circle player, Gaven. Thus far, Gaven is the only member of our plucky band of WarMachinists who is still a purist… he plays Circle, and only Circle. There’s a lot to be said for that kind of dedication!
He’s also in 2nd place in our local totem, having to his credit 5 wins and 2 losses… a perfect counterpoint to my 2 wins and 5 losses so far! Would the gap between us continue to grow, or would the force of the Protectorate stand triumphant over the burning husks of the Circle?
