Welcome back to my second batrep in an ongoing series I like to call, ‘your tears are delicious’. This weeks game brought me face to face (I had to crouch a bit) with Aaron.

Finally starting to catch up on all the tournaments I’ve been to… this one occurred back in March the week before the Ontario Team Championships, but I was finally freed from the oppression of my own awful list!
Well, *mostly* freed… turns out I’m not exactly super-awesome at making on-the-spot tournament lists either… but we’ll get to that, friends… we’ll get to that!

The Combo Smite Crew including Myself, Marc, Aaron, Kassem and Darrell made our way down to Burlington Ontario this weekend(*) to attend.
(*Marc: Please note that when Nick says “This Weekend”, he means many months ago now… he’s been busy, and so I have taken it upon myself to finish up these half-done reports, knowing more-or-less what happened to Nick over the course of the day. I apologize for the vagueness of the reports, but Nick takes beautiful pictures and played really, really well at this tournament, and I figure we can all learn something from his experiences! I will let you know when I take over in earnest, but for now, back to Nick’s preamble!)

So this is a set of short battle reports from a month or so ago… I learned at Store Wars Number 2 that my picture-taking was costing me games (I was Death Clocked 2 times by merely a few seconds, about the time it takes me to pull out my phone and snap some shots every turn!). So rather than full blow-by-blows, these will be shorter synopsi of what happened. I hope you find them educational and entertaining!
Last Wednesday I was paired up against Aaron and his new toys, Convergence. We opted out of timing the game even though we instantly regretted it, but it was a new faction for him and the extra time seemed to help with all the potential mistakes that would have been made in a rush. 
(Marc: A word to our listeners: due to the new recording software I used, my voice is on one channel while everyone else is on the other. If you’re only hearing half of the conversation… that’s why! Or, as Nick politely put it: “Huge periods of silence with occasionally me, Adam, or Aaron saying something for a moment.” He’s a jerk-face.)
