Well! Another Southern Ontario Open has come and gone, and just like last year, I was barely able to attend… but thankfully the rest of the Combo Smite crew were able to be there for the majority of the event and REPRESENT!
… if by that I mean lose lots of games. But they had a great time, and truth be told, so did I! Hopefully next year I can actually spend more than a frantic 5-hours at the tournament!

So, due to the holiday this weekend we didn’t have a chance to play or record a battle for the podcast. We did, however, have a bit over an hour to sit down and discuss a few Menoth lists…

Got four hours to listen to a sermon all about the God of Man? I mean, since the alternative is being burned to a crisp, I’d vote “Yes”, but it is your choice after all…
On Saturday Marc and I made the trek into Toronto to attend a 50pt Steamroller event at Meeplemart. Meeple has to be the nicest gaming store I have ever seen. Tons of stock, large play area with comfortable leather chairs and lots of very passable terrain.

They’re not going to get much better than that one, folks… sorry about this! I blame Nick… he handed me an extremely powerful and sensitive camera, and I treated it like a point-and-click device… which it is definitely not. Thankfully we managed to salvage a bunch of good pictures out of the mess!
