This weeks Strategy Street brought to you by Derp Flakes, a balanced daily breakfast! Also, pictures, with markings on them! Continue reading
Okay folks, last week for this batch of tournament analysis epsidoes… Saturday we’re all off to the Ontario Team Championships, and then Sunday we’re going to talk about it! I hope!
Until then… why not a little more Kassem, discussing his Skorne tactics for a tournament we had a few weeks back?
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s finally happened… not only did the new Skorne errata hit… but it looks good.
Before we get to the audio, just want to share an awesome image a couple listeners (hi MIke!) in Omaha sent us.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get happy little shivers from that. Thanks guys!
Anyway, on to the Skorne errata!
Sure, there’s a lot of salt about Skorne these days. But there’s also a lot of good. And Nick, Kassem, and I sit down for 5 hours to talk about all the good in Skorne.
Yes, there is at least 5 hours worth of good stuff in Skorne. Come learn all about it!
Hey guys.
This week we have something special for you. I got into the BETA for the new revamped version of War Room and I thought we would show it off for anyone who wasn’t able to make it.
Please keep in mind that this is an early beta release and will most definitely be changing as the beta testing proceeds.
With the recent change to Haley2, it’s become more critical than ever to consider Cygnar’s list pairing options… which is wonderful, because it opens up a lot of space for warcasters like Kraye!
Of course, just because you have opened new space, doesn’t automatically mean you will design anything *good*… let’s see what happens when my ARM-cracking Kraye list runs into Kassem fielding his new Bugs of Terror!
Store Wars might be done for this year but there are still loads of tournaments around. This weekend Marc ran a small event in our own local London FLGS, The Game Chamber. It was a 50 pt Steamroller and players using ADR casters could take advantage of the 20pts of specialists as if this were a Master’s event.
I love the concept of ADR and my only complaint about the format is that nobody uses it since its only in the Master’s packet.
