This week, we run through Nick’s tournament report… first we discuss his lists, then we discuss everything (or anything?) that went right!
Two batreps in two weeks?! Say whaaaaa…
People don’t say that any more, do they? Oh well. I am a creature of my time…
It was a fascinating game, and much was learned… although, if you’ve listened to this week’s podcast, you know that not ENOUGH was learned. Still, give it a read if you want!
Hey, actual batreps on our Battle Report podcast! Insanity!
This is Part 2 of the discussion (if you include the list discussion from last week!)… and it’s… hmmm. It was very educational for all of us, I think!
Hello! My, it’s been awhile since we’ve done a battle report (episode 153, for those of you keeping count), and it’s been far, far longer since I’ve actually WRITTEN a battle report, rather than just talked about it.
But, at some gentle torture from Nick, I decided to give it a whirl. Because, really, I do love writing up batreps, and it’s been a long time… so without further ado…
Actually, one more thing: I miss Aaron. That guy took the absolute best pictures, and it made doing the write-ups an absolute joy. Sure, I miss Aaron for other reasons (I don’t get to see him much, since I’m only ever in London for WarMachine and he doesn’t play much any more), but his pictures were top notch.
Okay, on with the batrep!
Hello listeners! This week we do the last OTC battle reports we’re going to cover in the main stream (Kassem may yet talk about how he did on “Strategy Street”, but that’s up to him!). Mostly, we talk with Darrell about Menoth, but I managed to sneak in Todd’s batreps in the week since we recorded… so enjoy!
Ah, the annual OTC. A great time for WarMachine, and a wonderful opportunity to record a metric crap-tonne of battle reports! This episode Nick and I talk about our battles, and we’re planning on getting the rest of the team in a later episode!
For our American listeners, conversion from metric crap-tonnes to Imperial crap-tonnes is approximately 1.47.
Thanks to the releases announced at Smogcon, we have a whole new Faction to talk about!
Well… part of one, at least. Nick and I spend about an hour discussing the new Steamroller Rules coming out for 2017 (what we know, at least), and the new Hordes Faction, the Grymkin (what we know, at least!).
Give it a listen, let us know what ya think!
What a time to be alive, folks. Kassem is recording his own podcasts, discussing lists and strategy for Skorne, and I’m absolutely fascinated to hear how it turns out… but in the meantime, we still have our regular Combo Smite episodes!
This week, we jump into a full analysis of Nick’s recent tournament results with Retribution and the two lists he brought to the table. Some really weird time-warp going on here, with News and Announcements and New Zealand and all sorts of stuff, but hopefully everyone enjoys it!
Hey guys! Sorry this podcast is up late: Nick and I were up playing D&D in celebration of Aaron’s birthday until 1am (and then I got to drive home for an hour!), and the editing was blah blah blah excuses excuses IT’S DONE NOW.
